Villa Olivia and Casa Mirage are deluxe two story vacation oceanfront homes located on the pristine sandy beach of Playa Grande. Both have Mediterranean style architecture emphasizing open spaces and spacious verandas. Furnishings and decor are contemporary and comfortable, many custom-made from local hardwoods. All rooms feature air-conditioned bedrooms with ceiling fans and a safety box. Tropical gardens and banana & coconut trees create an intimate atmosphere. Villa Olivia and Casa Mirage are separated by 60 ft. of grassy lawn and are ideal for families and large groups, booked together they can accommodate a group up to 26 guests.

Villas Amenities: Full Kitchen, spacious outside dinning, 2 extensive wraparound oceanfront verandas, and wet bar. Enjoy hammocks, lounge chairs, & rocking chairs. BBQ, outside bali shower, and off-street parking. Linens & towels are included, as well as dish detergent, bath soap, and toilet paper. Boogie boards and surfboards are available to rent.

Marianela, our bilingual caretaker is onsite daily, we provide evening security and maid service twice a week. Marianela, will be happy to arrange for you a private cook, spa services, babysitter, and set-up excursions and activities. Playa Grande stretches over two miles along the magnificent northwest pacific coastline, 30 min. north of Playa Tamarindo and 30 min. south of Playa Flamingo. The oceanfront villas sit on the northern end of Playa Grande, near the big rock. This is a secluded and undeveloped beach community of only a dozen oceanfront vacation/retirement homes and one oceanfront hotel with restaurant, the Las Tortugas. Inland there are 4 small hotel/restaurants, 2 restaurants, a pulperia, and surf shop. Two markets are only 5 minutes away by car, a pharmacy and emergency clinic are 20 minutes away. As of July 2006 the road has been paved from the village of Matapalo to the beach house.

Activities: Playa Grande is a national park protecting the nesting site of the Giant Leatherback turtles (Oct - Mar). Explore the tidal pools around the volcanic rocks and walk to the northern coves, ending in a black sand beach. Enjoy world-class Surfing, fishing, and golfing. Take a horseback ride, canopy tour, kayak in the estuary, sunset cruise, or snorkel/dive . Hike through Rincon De La Vieja or Palo Verde National Park.
