Casa Vista Azul is a custom-built Costa Rica villa that seems to float over the jungle canopy. It is a delight for nature lovers, adventurers and romantics. Created by an award-winning designer, the home is beautifully appointed inside and out.

Sitting high above the jungle floor, this cliff side villa offers some of the most dramatic ocean views in the area. The panorama encompasses the ocean and the small pacific islands scattered throughout the water. The picturesque peninsula of Manuel Antonio Nation Park stands out on the horizon.

The home features six air-conditioned bedrooms as well as a pool house that can be used as a separate bedroom. The living room is open to the rainforest surrounding the home, giving it the feel of a luxury tree house.

The spacious master suite is on the level below the living room. In the spirit of the tropics, the bathroom features a Jacuzzi stone bath. The large wraparound balcony shares the spectacular view with the rest of the house. This bedroom has a king size bed and ample seating. The next level down has two bedrooms that feature jungle and pool views. Each has a private bath. One has a queen bed, and the other a king size bed. Another spacious bedroom with king bed is on the pool level and overlooks the pool and beautiful tropical gardens. The luxurious bath features a sunken tub.

The living room is covered by canopy supported by 24-foot posts made from native materials. This creates a shelter from the sun and afternoon showers and allows the cooling ocean breezes to flow freely throughout the house.

One of the most popular areas in the house is the pool house next to the pool. The pool house is nestled into the trees at its back – and open to the pool and waterfall in the front. The three sofas can be converted into twin beds, or 1 king bed and 1 twin. It is cooled by the ocean breezes and is enclosed by screens. To further enjoy your outdoor entertainment, there is a kitchenette, sink, large fridge and BBQ grill. You may never leave the poolside! There are 2 air-conditioned bedrooms on the lower level of the pool house. Each bedroom has a private bath and open-air shower. One bedroom has a king size bed, and the other 3 twin beds.

The large lap pool and waterfall are some of the exceptional features of this luxurious home. The pool is in the style of a natural jungle oasis and the 20-foot waterfall enhances the tropical ambience. The pool has a swimming lane for exercise and a separate swim area for play.

Wildlife abounds around the terrace including spectacular exotic birds such as toucans and hummingbirds. Costa Rica’s most beloved creatures – the world-famous mono titi monkeys - leap from tree to tree just beyond the balcony. The howler monkeys add their voices to the natural sounds of the jungle.

To minimize the impact on the environment, the house was specifically designed to rise up from a small area to widen out to a 1,200 square foot space. In all there are five stories with an elevator for your convenience. The design concept takes advantage of the ideal climate of the area by opening the great room to the air accenting the tropical atmosphere of the home.
