Villa Manana is a new, large, four bedroom, four bathroom, single story luxury villa set at the top of a hill with an unbelievable ocean view (west) that overlooks 2 km of pristine sand beach.

 It is all yours to discover. Most water sports are available on-site or within a 5 minute drive. The beach is located at the bottom of the hill (about 1/4 of a mile stroll downhill from the villa). Beach walking and afternoon naps are encouraged. There's some great snorkeling right off the beach and the water is shallow enough for small children. About a mile down the beach is a small river that typically has large egrets, storks, ibis and herons strutting around hunting for fish.

And if you're adventuresome, there are active volcanoes, bubbling hot springs, canopy tours and jungle hikes (with monkeys!) that you can explore as day trips.

There are four bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom and walk-in shower, located at each corner of the villa.

The two front rooms each have a sliding door onto a large sun deck and private pool for those romantic midnight dips. One bedroom has a king size bed, the other has a queen. The left rear bedroom has a queen size bed, a nice jungle view, a separate entrance and a private patio that overlooks our bay. The other rear bedroom has a king size bed and a private patio that overlooks the ocean.

All suites adjoin the living room with its wall of windows that overlooks the ocean and a sliding door onto the deck and the pool. At the rear of the living room is a fully equipped kitchen. The dining furniture is setup on the outdoor patio and is perfect for eating outdoors or cut-throat games of hearts or monopoly. And oh... that chirping noise you hear in the evenings out on the patio - its our house geckos - those little salamander creatures that eat mosquitoes and scamper around on the ceiling.

It really doesn't matter which bedroom you occupy because you're going to want to get up at 5:00 am to watch the sunrise, the flights of wild parrots and the monkeys that live in the jungle behind the villa. The sunset at 5:30 pm is even better! Its almost a ritual at the resort to gather on the beach at sunset and watch the ocean swallow the sun, while sipping a pina colada.

NO SMOKING is allowed in our villa. Violators will be charged a $200 cleaning fee and will not be invited back.

Up to 4 guests is permitted without additional cost. Please call for family and/or additional adult guest charge.

All prices are per week and, until confirmed, are subject to change without notice.

A maximum of 8 guests is permitted. Sorry, no rollaway or sofa beds available.

Reservations: 25% deposit with reservation, balance 60 days prior to arrival.
Cancellation: 10% penalty if within 45 days of arrival else full amount of rental.
