Fonda del Mar is a luxury beach house located just a few minutes walk south of the center of Tamarindo. It has a small lush garden area and a private pool overlooking the ocean. The pool patio has a shaded pergola and a custom built bar with a commercial gas BBQ grill. The kitchen, dining and living room are one expansive “great” room with a bank of glass doors which uniquely slide open to allow maximum view of the ocean and the pool. Of course, when the doors are open, the ocean breezes flow through out the house, bringing the “outdoors” indoors. The view from this room may well be the nicest of any beach house in Tamarindo! The kitchen has every modern convenience, including a wine refrigerator. Of course there is cable TV, wireless internet and AC in all the rooms. There are 4 bedrooms. Two are on ground level, facing the pool and the ocean; one has twin beds and the other has a queen bed. Both have private bathrooms. The Master bedroom is on the second level with an astounding view of the Tamarindo bay and the mountains behind the bay. It has a King bed, large flat screen TV, a large walk-in closet and a small refrigerator and a coffee maker for your morning coffee and evening sunset drinks. Step out to the private patio and lay back and soak in the 5 person Jacuzzi as you watch the boats sail into the bay. The bathroom includes double sinks, stunning tile work and a beautiful separate outdoor shower area with “his and hers” oversized showerheads; you can look out to the sea as you shower! On the third level there is a deck with 180 degree view of the Tamarindo bay. It is the perfect place for private sunbathing, watching the brilliant sunsets, or stargazing at night. The fourth bedroom is a large studio apartment with a Queen bed, a full bathroom, a kitchen and a small patio with an ocean view. The beach out front has white sand and no rocks and is perfect for swimming and boogie boarding. There is secure parking for two cars. The house reflects the intention of the owners to build a peaceful respite from the world of hustle and bustle, where the beauty of the ocean, beach and mountains will assure you a tranquil, rejuvenating vacation.
