Villa Cascada Resort is located within the boundaries of a private gated community known as “Playa Ocotal”. Many of the neighboring homes are valued from $300,000 to as much as $2,000,000. This “private beach community” has only one entrance in and out and that entrance is staffed 24 hours a day with a security guard. At one’s first glance of the Villa, which sits mid-way up the side of a mountain, you might be inclined to believe Villa Cascada Resort is simply a small hotel. After your first night stay, you will realize why Villa Cascada is not considered the same as a hotel. The Villa was specifically designed and constructed much different than a private home and or hotel. There are 14 bedrooms/baths that can accommodate up to 34 with a minimum of 25. All bedrooms have king size beds and some have an additional queen bed. The primary differences are as follows:

The guest’s quarters which are double
occupancy were designed so each room has its own private balcony and
bathroom/shower. The oversized
seated showers are constructed with native tile. ·
The different sections of
suites and gathering areas were designed so that you will still be able to
maintain a certain level of privacy from the other guests.
The first floor has 2 suites: The
Guanacaste Suites and the Ocotal Suites have 2 bedrooms with a king-size bed in
each of them as well as private bathrooms. Both of these suites are handicap
accessible to the pool, deck, lower rooms and 2 entertainment areas.
The second floor has 3 suites. The
El Coco Suites have 3 bedrooms with a king-size bed in each of them as well as
private bathrooms. One of the
bedrooms has a sitting area with a sleeper sofa and may connect to one of the
other bedrooms within this suite. The
La Pacifica Suites have 3 bedrooms with a king-size bed in each of them as well
as private bathrooms. One of the
bedrooms has a Jacuzzi tub and may connect with one of the other bedrooms in
this suite. The El Piscina Suites
have 3 bedrooms with a king-size bed and a queen-size in each of them as well as
their own private bathrooms. There
is also an additional room with a king-size bed and private bathroom.
Three of these rooms may connect making it a perfect suite for families
with children. ·
Guests can come and go to
their private quarters without having to pass through a family room, living
area, den, lobby or the kitchen area. · Villa Cascada offers guests a tranquil, and comfortable setting that generic hotels and pre-packaged resorts do not normally provide and the pool does not close at 10:00 pm. ·
When you
and your guests stay at the villa, relax by the pool, swim and dance under the
stars, the full time on-site staff has one purpose, to continually strive to
make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Villa Cascada was designed with handicap accessibility in mind. The Guanacaste and Ocotal Suites are located on the first floor. There are 2 bedrooms in each of them and are both handicapped accessible to the beautiful beach entry pool, deck and entertainment areas. By
design you will not find TV’s, clocks and newspapers in your rooms.
For one week, we hope each of you will be able to put the world’s
problems and cold weather out of mind and out of site.
We provide for your pleasure in the gathering areas, via satellite two
“Direct TV” linkups, which is conveniently located adjacent to the Pool.
Your group will be able to conveniently access 55 music channels, movies
and or CNN. We also have a
DVD player. We have a Karaoke
machine for our guests’ entertainment. The “all inclusive price” includes 3 full and delicious meals, afternoon appetizers and a continuous “open bar”, including various national liquors, wines, tropical frozen drinks and icy cold Costa Rican beers as well soft drinks, sodas, etc. The meal times give you ample time to eat and visit and don’t worry there will be plenty of food. Transportation
to and from the Liberia Airport can be provided for an additional charge. Several
airlines such as: Delta, Continental, Northwest and American Airlines as well as
