Villa Estrella is located
in the exclusive beachside community of Ocotal in the Guanacaste region of Costa
Rica overlooking the Gulf of Papagayo and the Pacific Ocean. It is just a few
minutes south of the little beach village of Coco and only a twenty five minute
drive from Liberia International Airport. This gorgeous, newly constructed villa
is situated on a private hilltop that rises from the beach of Ocotal and offers
breathtaking views of the Pacific to the west and volcanic mountains and jungles
to the north, east, and south. Villa Estrella aptly deserves its name because,
in Spanish, “estrella” means “star” and at Villa Estrella, you will enjoy a
truly “Five Star” Costa Rican experience!
Villa Estrella has seven full
sized suites that accommodate up to 20 guests. Each suite offers "5-Star"
amenities . . . luxury bedding for a perfect night's rest, separate
in-suite air conditioning to personalize your in-room comfort, separate
balconies to relax and enjoy the exotic views and sounds of the Costa Rican
surroundings and full bath facilities that will meet all your personal needs. In
addition, oversized doors, windows and overhead fans that allow you to let in
the fresh hilltop breezes and jungle aromas.
Of special note, for groups with a sizable number of younger children, Villa
Estrella features a larger “group suite” featuring eight separate bunk beds . .
. an experience the kids will surely enjoy. All linen and towels are refreshed
daily.

Floor 1 - Suite 1 has a king with ocean view, Suite 2 has a king with
nature view, Suite 3 has two twins with a nature view
Floor 2 - Suite 4 has a king with ocean view, Suite 5 and 6 have queens with
ocean view, Suite 7 is the bunkroom (sleeps 8) and has a nature view.
In addition to the comfort of the Villa Estrella's suites, enjoy all the other
wonderful "Five Star" amenities that the villa offers . . . soak up the sun
floating in the relaxing water of the 60 ft. infinity pool, indulge yourself in
tropical drinks and gourmet treats in the shade of the pool side bar, tone up
your body on the exercise machines in the open air exercise area, enjoy your
family and friends playing pool and watching a movie together on the 50"
big screen TV, or catch a private moment in the complete calm of your own
balcony, reading a book, watching and listening to the monkeys and tropical
birds in the tops of the surrounding trees.
Your stay at Villa Estrella
includes three wonderful meals each day prepared by “Chef Pepe”. “Pepe”, as you
will come to affectionately know him, was born in Peru and for over twenty years
was a Master Chef at numerous five star restaurants throughout California,
earning a reputation for the highest excellence in Spanish and Italian cuisine.
As a person, Pepe is a “star” unto himself and we're sure you will love his
personality and, of course, his preparations as well!
All of your meals will be served outdoors in the shade of the covered patio with
overhead fans gently refreshing you. At the start of your stay, Pepe will review
his thoughts with you regarding the upcoming week's menu with a goal of
customizing meal choices to your group's preferences, including special dietary
needs. Meals will be served at the time of your choosing --- Breakfast
-- at breakfast, all your senses will wake up! The best in Costa Rican coffee
from our gourmet espresso bar and local tropical juices will be served to you as
you come to the table. You'll enjoy various egg dishes enhanced with Costa Rican
breakfast meats, light spices, and salsas.......and cereals, grains, waffles and
pancakes layered with tasty yogurts and local fresh fruit as well as local jams
and jellies on toasted breads! You'll leave the breakfast table satisfied,
energized, and ready to go! All this while listening to the sounds of the
parrots and monkeys in the tree tops, as they wake up themselves. Lunch
-- lunches will be on the lighter side (as is the case in Costa Rica) giving you
a mid-day boost without creating that heavy feeling. Along with re-energizing
tropical drinks, you'll enjoy refreshing Costa Rican fruit and vegetable “ensaladas”;
healthy sandwich selections; and of course you'll have to try our “tico”
beans/rice specialty dishes! Dinner -- dinners will be “magnifico”. Close
your eyes and fantasize the taste of super fresh mahi mahi, tuna, and lobster,
and many other varieties of fish, caught that very day, enhanced with tasty
gourmet sauces and salsas, and served in delightfully creative ways. Smell the
aromas of steak, pork, and chicken “entradas” grilled to your particular liking
on the Villa Estrella's outside barbeque grill. Cap off the dinner with tasty
local deserts that will bring you to total satisfaction. And for our adult
guests, choose from our fully stocked wine, beer and liquor bar to add fun to
the night!
Villa Estrella management will
meet you and your party at the Liberia airport and facilitate your twenty five
minute drive to the villa.
Villa Estrella management and staff will be available 24 hours a day to
facilitate your stay in any way. Daily services include room cleaning and
refreshing, including linens and towels; full meal service; computer, fax, and
internet services. In addition, infant and handicap support/access can be
accommodated.
Villa Estrella management will coordinate with local guides, local directions
and suggestions for site seeing, local transportation and translation.
Rates
Range from $179
to $260 per person/night. All rates are all inclusive of room, food, beverages,
house services, and miscellaneous transportation. Guides are additional and as
negotiated. Gratuities for the staff at the end of your stay are very much
appreciated. The minimum stay is 5 days with a guest minimum of 8.
