Villa Isla Azul is a five bedroom, five bath villa with staff (cook, maid, houseboy) located in Guanacaste in Ocotal. The lushly-landscaped villa includes an oversized deck with swimming pool and waterfall. There is also a spectacular great room with 32-foot ceilings, TV, VCR, stereo and air-conditioning in the bedrooms only. Three rooms have king size beds with one of those rooms also having a single bed. Two rooms have two double beds each. All beds have new feather mattresses. The bedrooms have been repainted and are decorated each in a specific theme. The bathrooms are now equipped with hairdryers and other toiletries. The staff arrive around 7 a.m. and depart shortly after dinner, which is normally served between 6 and 7 p.m. (sunset is around 6 p.m. and the sun rises shortly after 5 a.m.) The houseboy serves the meals and handles the bar during the day and early evening before dinner. He will gladly serve you refreshing drinks while you relax in the pool. The maid will clean the entire house daily and provide fresh linens and towels. Dining at the VillA Costa Rica is a wonderful country for eating and you will get the best of all possible worlds at the villa. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served outdoors on the beautiful deck overlooking the ocean. Fresh seafood, vegetables and fruit are house specialties as well as chicken, pork and Italian dishes served by our cooks. Among the seafood served during a week’s stay will be fresh mahi-mahi, grouper, snapper and tuna. Breakfast is normally served around 8 a.m. (the houseboy will have coffee and fruit available before breakfast). Lunch is light since most people are fishing, on the beach or taking a tour. Lunch consists of sandwiches, salads, nachos, chips and fruit. Lunch is served at your desired time around the noon hour. Dinner, as mentioned above, is a treat and will be served between 6 and 6:30 p.m. That may seem a bit early but after arising early—as everyone does here—you will appreciate the time. The Bar
The bar includes beer (Costa Rican beers are excellent), white and red wines, rum, vodka, tequila, gin and scotch. The houseboy mixes up the best pina coladas and margaritas (or other frozen drinks desired) using only the freshest ingredients available. Premium brands can be offered for an additional cost. Soft drinks, fruit drinks and milk are also available. The Costa Rican coffee is legendary. Rates January to April 15
