Villa Ventanas is a brand new 6,500 square foot, 6 bedroom/bath luxury villa in Dominical, Costa Rica that is situated 100 feet above the surf on the coast of Costa Rica’s world famous tropical rain forest with dramatic ocean views and soft ocean sounds from every room. This architectural masterpiece is steps from the beach or moments from dinner and dancing in town. Sights and sounds of flora and fauna encase this house set slightly back from the main Costanera Highway. The remarkable white water Pacific Ocean views can be seen from every room, and the relaxing sound of the surf gently permeates the environment, creating a very relaxing, natural atmosphere.

The Great Room is the hub of the house with two wings extending from opposite ends, and featuring 25 foot ceilings that make this room truly great. The Great Room is spacious and airy, adorned with over sized lounging sofas, perfect for kicking up your feet and relaxing. The 20' tall sliding glass patio doors connect the great room with the covered patio area next to the pool, which can be opened up, connecting the great room with the patio/pool area. In the Great Room is the state of the art kitchen, featuring an island design with bar stools and plenty of room for cooking, serving and dining on the island counter top. The kitchen features stainless-steel appliances, Viking range and convection oven, over sized refrigerator, ample counter space, walk-in pantry, microwave, blender, cutlery, cookware, and stylish settings for up to 15 people.

Extending from the Great Room is the spacious covered patio that seamlessly blends with the infinity edge pool, with the ocean waves just beyond. The patio has 25' ceilings with large fans, a cozy sitting area, dining table that seats 12, and an outdoor grill. The pool deck has chaise lounge chairs and abundant sunning space. The large 7' deep pool has an infinity edge melding the pool and sea into one continuous span of tropical blue, and is treated with eco-friendly salts rather than chemicals, which makes it easy on the skin and easy on the eyes.

Connected to the Great Room are the north and south wings of the house, each with a master bedroom and bath upstairs, and two bedrooms downstairs (total of 6 bedrooms). Each wing is a mirror image of the other. Both consist of two bedrooms down stairs that share a central full bath and a laundry facility (total of two washers and dryers), and a master suite upstairs, with two private decks for each master suite (one ocean view and one jungle). The master bedrooms have walk in closets, luxurious bathrooms and balconies. Every bedroom has its own air condition unit and ceiling fan, allowing each guest to adjust the temperature to their liking.

The grounds are landscaped with indigenous flowering tropical plants and trees which attract several species of brightly colored hummingbirds, toucans, fire-billed aracaris, scarlet macaws, and countless other species of birds; butterflies including the majestic iridescent blue Morphos; white-faced monkeys… and more. The span of ocean seen from the house is used by the humpback whale in their annual migration. During several months of the year, families of whales can be seen breaching and playing in the warm salty waters.
